Õý°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ is pleased to share that Ms. Kalista Clement has been appointed the school’s new Director of Boarding. She officially began her role this week, on July 1, 2024.
A longstanding colleague at Branksome, Kalista previously served in the role of Middle School Guidance Counsellor and International Languages Program Coordinator. She comes to this role with significant previous experience in Boarding, having been both a Boarding Advisor and Interim Senior Boarding Advisor at Õý°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥.
Although time spent in the Middle School is brief, the amount of growth and transformation students undergo is immense. The final week of school this year served as a celebration of the achievements of our Middle School students, giving them a well-deserved send-off for the summer as our Grade 7s prepare to take on the role of Middle School leaders and our Grade 8s move on to the Senior School.
Each day, more than 900 students benefit from your generosity. Quite simply, you touch the life of every student, providing endless possibilities to explore, take risks and feel valued for their unique talents, igniting a lifelong love of learning.
At Õý°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥, we’re not just enriching students’ minds – we’re giving them minds of their own. So they can challenge the status quo, set new standards, and carve their own path to success.
We wish to acknowledge this land on which Branksome operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.
